Academics

The academic program of Cross School is designed to bring out the BEST in your child. We believe that academic achievement and spiritual development go hand in hand.

We provide a loving and nurturing environment with an emphasis on Language, Arts, Math and Sciences.

Curriculum

As a Christian School program, we place a strong emphasis on teaching and learning God's Word. We begin the day with prayer an all subjects taught are taught from the Christian perspective. We use A-Beka and Houghton-Mifflin curriculum approach to education which keeps learning lively and interesting. Several choices will be presented weekly to provide a stimulating, exciting, fun way of hands on learning experiences.

Along with academics, our teachers maintain clear, consistent and fair limits which are age appropriate and relate t the safety, general welfare and protection of the right of others. Teachers help children become aware and responsible for their behavior. Our program encourages truth, honor and respect for God, others and our self.

Staff

Our staff demonstrates a strong Christian spirit, filled with the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and portrays a balance, positive attitude. Our staff meets or exceeds the approved standards for education and experience as set for th by the State of California. In addition, our staff member pursues further professional growth by means of continued course work and seminars as they become available.
